Built in 2007, this new ship was built especially for sailing through the arctic waters of the Greenland Sea. The interior of the ship has a Nordic feel due to the extensive use of wool, oak, and leather throughout. All cabins are equipped with air-conditioning and heating, private bathrooms with hair dryers, and suites onboard have televisions. Around the ship, guests may browse through the library or the gift shop, try out the exercise room, or relax in the sauna or two Jacuzzis. The ship also has panoramic observation lounges for passengers to get the most out of the amazing surrounding views. The crew size on each sailing varies to maintain a ratio of one crew member for every three passengers.
